Roman Komassa

Roman Komassa was the first dancer in the Grand Theater in Lodz and the Baltic Dance Theatre. He also performed in Staatstheater in Kassel, Braunschweig and Giessen. He collaborated with the Polish Dance Theater in Poznan. He was awarded the Leon Wójcikowski Medal for the best Polish Dancer (1988) and the Waclaw Nizynski Medal for the outstanding achievements in ballet. He has produced a number of brilliant creations on the Polish and German stages (Albert in Gisele, Spartakus, Wronski in Anna Karenina, Twardowski, Romeo, Zorba, Pietruszka). He is the author of the choreography to nearly 50 ballet performances. Currently, he works as a teacher at four ballet schools in Germany, and in Poland he is working on new projects, including as part of the Łódź of Four Cultures Festival.

Performance synopsis
Developing its own text and translating the theme into choreographic language will be the starting point for creating a performance in one act. The compilation of various fields of art and stage expression will form the basis of the performance. The Performance touches on the sphere closest to man, his personal dreams and feelings.
