Agata Życzkowska is an actress, director, playwright and performer. Mirek Woźniak is a choreographer, dancer and musical performer. The duo defines itself as working on the border between different artistic fields, with a particular focus on the field of new experimental choreography with elements of authentic movement, flying low and animal movement improvisation, using multimedia and interactive methods. Their themes are ecology, freedom, equality and tolerance.

The theory of AXIOM OF CHOICE is processed through the prism of the artists’ identities in social and choreographic terms. The selectors they choose are generation, ecology, numbers, pheromones, blood type, being different or the smell of childhood tangerines. The axiom of choice in times of climate crisis and apocalypse is an optimistic theory. Its optimism, however, only has a chance to exist in the moment of encounter. Action is awakened by smells, which are treated as time capsules.
