Living Space Theatre

Living Space Theatre was founded in 2016 by graduates of the National Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow. As a nomadic theater, we produce performances in various places and with different artists. We are focused on working with the body and imagination, which are effective tools for us in the creative process. Our main goal is to produce original dance and physical theater performances, as well as organizing artistic workshops, festivals and exhibitions.

Performance synopsis

In 1977, psychologist A. Aron published the article Experimental generation of interpersonal closeness. He collected 36 questions intended for dialogue between two strangers. According to the study, being open to another person and putting yourself in a vulnerable position develops strong intimacy, leading to instant love. During the performance, the dancers answer these questions. A performance is an emotional, physical event characterized by an intimate connection with the audience.
