The Stanisław Hadyna Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble is a Cultural Institution of the Silesia Self-Government co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It aims to promote Polish folk and national art. In professional stage presentations by a 100-person artistic team (choir, ballet and orchestra), it presents the richness of Polish national culture. The programme includes several artistic forms – from colourful, dynamic regional folk performances to classical and sacred music.

Performance synopsis
‘Exodus’ is a performance based on styles of contemporary and folk dance with the use of elements characteristic of dramatic theatre. The creators of the performance show the world – life as a journey, as well as a person’s path in search of happiness, the satisfaction of their own desires and search for another person. It is also a journey into the depths of oneself, showing our inner desires in the pursuit of building relationships and relationships with another human being.
