Renata Piotrowska-Auffret is polish choreographer and curator. In her work she is interested in female body politics, the notion of care and parenthood.
Piotrowska-Auffret contemplates the contemporary world by deriving the inspirations from intimate experiences embedded in a given social context. She is interested in the perversity of relations between the historical and contemporary body politics, between public and private, as well as between text and movement.

Performance synopsis
The show explores the movement and social dimension of Danse Macabre, focusing on the communal and bodily potential of uninterrupted dance. A dance that is a trance-like whirl to blood-pumping techno music. A dance that soothes fears and offers the possibility of discovering joy and group strength. It allows the performers and spectators to rediscover their own vital body. A sense of togetherness is reassuring. As long as we are alive. As long as we dance.
