Jacek Przybyłowicz

A graduate of the State Ballet School and Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw. He has danced with the Grand Theatre in Warsaw and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel. He has created over 20 choreographies for the Polish National Ballet, Polish Dance Theatre, Wrocław Opera Ballet, Baltic Opera Ballet, Grand Theatre Ballet in Poznań, Kielce Dance Theatre, Beijing Dance LDTX, Dantzaz Konpainia, TanzKompanie Giessen, Prague Chamber Ballet, and the Ballet of National Theatre Brno.

‘45’ shows the story of young dancers, exploring – in a symbolic dimension – the subject of a collective, merged with teamwork, as well as a common, conscious decision to choose art as a way of life. The idea of ‘45’ is to go beyond the traditional form of the correlation between the choreographer and the composer. A shared journey emerges as the theme of the performance.
