Performance synopsis
‘Alla Polacca’ presents the Old Polish tradition, the roots of our culture and identity. The performance shows the beauty of the Polish dances and customs which have inspired many of the greatest European artists. It presents not only a variety of Polish dances spanning from the 17th to the 19th century, but also recreates the elements of the Old Polish plays, rituals and legends. ‘Alla Polacca’ becomes an encounter with both noble and folk traditions, as well as their mutual influences.
