Performance synopsis
A story of two people united by love and separated by social status, set in the reality of the Polish elite of the 19th century, entangled in difficult historical times and foreign influences. The performance presents an inalienable national culture – the dance and music of our ancestors – as well as the social life of the elite filled with polonaises, mazurkas, waltzes, and polkas.
