Performance synopsis

HOLD ONTO THE WIND is a dance performance by choreographer and performer Monika Szpunar, carried on a wind that transcends generational, territorial, and artistic boundaries. It was created in collaboration with interdisciplinary and international artists, as well as senior citizens met during a series of creative laboratories.

The inspiration for the performance comes from a saying of Monika Szpunar’s beloved Aunt Józia, who used to greet her with the words: “Hold onto the wind.”
