Carrodunum Dance Company is a contemporary dance group that was founded at the end of 2021 in Krakow. It was created by young, professional dancers as a result of the will to work together creatively and to develop in the field of dance art. The performance touches on the theme of the masculine ideal, telling the story of both the alpha male we are familiar with and the contemporary, enigmatic sigma male. The play’s protagonists are five men focused on achieving success and social prestige, enslaved by an obsessive lifestyle, a penchant for high material status and luxury, and the need to constantly create a perfect version of themselves.
